In the month of August our center got to go help out at the Red Hill Assembly of God Church with repaving their parking lot. We want to thank Red Hill for their support in this ministry and always giving back and feeding our men when they come to serve at their church.
The men also got to go serve at the Royal Rangers Pow Wow boys camp 2024. They stayed and pitched tents and camped there for 3 days, and had a blessed time fellowshipping with the little boys. They got to lead the boys into worship and do military-like obstacles.
Our Directors of Hawai’i Adult & Teen Challenge PacWest got to fly out to Spiritual Emphasis in Oregon. They came back fired up and encouraged. God was moving in everyone’s hearts that weekend!
The men also helped a lady in the Waianae Community make her fathers yard look new again. They heard about Adult & Teen Challenge and how they help our Kapuna’s (elderly) with their yards that can’t do it themselves. We are here to help! Please call us at 808-589-0013 if you need help with any type of labor (landscaping, construction, loading and unloading trucks, setting up and breaking down). This helps these men to get prepared for when they go out into the world after they graduate the program and start getting employed again.
We want to thank our intern Alihilani Stringert for all he does to help and serve God and the ministry of Adult & Teen Challenge Oahu PacWest. He is always getting the men up every day and running with them through the schedule. He is an encouraging leader and a blessing to everyone always praying and lifting up his brothers and anyone God leads him to pray for. He got to speak at Wednesday morning chapel and we’re sure it won’t be the last time. He has a great call on his life! We appreciate you Alihi and all the interns that stay and serve!
We got our guest speaker Dennis Reanier to come and share his heart and wisdom from the Lord. He spoke an encouraging word and also prophesied over all the men!
